# Fried Oysters

## Ingredients

- 10 oz oyster
- 2 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 oz cabbage
- 10 oz corn oil
- 4 tablespoon flour
- 1.5 tablespoon cornstarch
- 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 0.33 teaspoon white pepper
- 4.5 tablespoon water
- 1 tablespoon oil

## Steps

1. Place the oysters in a bowl. Sprinkle in  the cornstarch  and gently mix it into the oysters, being careful not to break up them up.
2. To a bowl, add the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, garlic salt, white pepper, fish sauce and water. Stir until it becomes a smooth batter (it should flow in a steady stream when poured) and set aside.
3. Heat a wok on high. When the wok is hot enough, pour in the oil and wait for it to reach 330°F (165°C).
4. Increase the heat to high to bring the oil up to a temp of 390°F (199°C).
