# Thai Basil Pork Belly (Krapow Moo Krob)

## Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon oil
- 3 cloves garlic
- 4  chilies (adjust to taste)
- 1 1/3 cups fried pork belly (sliced)
- 1 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp white sugar
- 3 tbsp water
- a handful holy basil

## Steps

1. Pound garlic and chilies with a mortar and pestle.
2. Mix all sauces and seasonings in a small bowl: water, white sugar, fish sauce, oyster sauce, and light soy sauce.
3. Heat oil in a wok or skillet over medium heat. Sauté the chilies and garlic until fragrant and golden.
4. Add the sauce mix from step 2 and allow the sauces to cook and blend together for a brief amount of time.
5. Add fried pork belly and holy basil.
6. Toss to mix, until the basil is slightly wilted, and the pork belly is warm. Serve immediately.
