# Fried Chicken Wings

Cuisine: chinese · Time: 40 minutes · Servings: 4

## Ingredients

- 20 oz chicken wing
- 12 oz corn oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 2 teaspoon light soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon cooking wine
- 0.5 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
- 3 tablespoon flour
- 2 tablespoon cornstarch
- 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
- 4.5 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon oil

## Steps

1. Get the chicken wings ready for frying by separating the drum from the wing. Hold the wing with the underside facing up, then with a twisting motion, bend the joint open to push the bone out.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the garlic salt, sugar, oyster sauce, light soy sauce, cooking wine, white pepper and chicken bouillon powder. Stir to thoroughly mix.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, baking powder and water and mix until there are no clumps. Add the oil and stir again to mix.
4. Heat up a wok or other frying vessel. Add the corn oil (you can also use another oil as long as it has a high smoke point) and once it hits 350°F, you're ready to fry.
